Step back to 1776 in the historic Hudson River hamlet of Verplanck for a special Toast 250 celebration! Gather at The Paradise Restaurant, near the site where George Washington’s Continental Army crossed the Hudson at King’s Ferry following the Battle of White Plains. Meet George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Revolutionary women, and soldiers of the 5th New York Regiment, experience outdoor musket drills and firing, and enjoy tavern music and dancing with fiddler Henry Burby.
