About this event
Hear the waterfront differently at Harmonic Landing, a sound art installation at the south end of the Croton Landing walkway in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
Created by artists Bruce Odland and Sam Auinger, the installation transforms nearby traffic and train sounds into harmony in real time. Visitors can sit on its Cube Loudspeaker for a special listening experience that connects art, sound, and the surrounding landscape.
Formerly known as Harmonic Bridge, the work spent 28 years at MASS MoCA before the artists gifted it to Croton-on-Hudson. Its official opening is planned for fall 2026.
For anyone exploring public art in Westchester or looking for unique things to do in Croton-on-Hudson, Harmonic Landing offers a reason to pause and listen during a waterfront walk.
