Rising vocalist Ekep Nkwelle, praised for her rich tone and soulful phrasing, brings a holiday-season engagement of jazz standards, blues and gospel-inflected ballads. Her deep connection to the tradition and modern sensibility make her one of the most buzzed-about young singers in jazz. An elegant pre-Christmas night out in Tarrytown, Westchester County.
